An exceptionally charming and green weekend on the Pokrzywna and Wieprza. You'll encounter not only nature, but also the rich history of these lands – including the 20th-century hydroelectric power plants, among the most valuable monuments of hydrotechnics in Poland and Europe.
It's a route that even less experienced people can manage – though a few surprises await for variety.

The charming, green tributary Pokrzywna and the Wieprza lead through the nature and history of the region. Along the way you'll see historic 20th-century hydroelectric power plants – gems of hydrotechnics.
A few surprises as a warm-up
Although the route is friendly also for the less experienced, especially at the start of the first day a few surprises await: faster-flowing water and a few trees in the channel. You can paddle around them or easily get past them over or under.
