Extreme: the Bukowina with the Łupawa (multi-day trip)

A trip for the truly tough. If you already have experience and like to get wet from time to time tackling log jams and rapids, take on a legend of Polish kayaking – the Łupawa and its less known but exceptionally interesting tributary, the Bukowina. Thrills and adrenaline guaranteed.

The trail starts innocently, but with every kilometre the obstacles and impressions grow. Trees and boulders submerged in the current demand full concentration and decent fitness.

3 days difficulty: difficult single kayaks log-jam kayaking for the experienced

What awaits you on the water

A legend and its tributary

The Łupawa is a legend of Polish kayaking, and the Bukowina is its wilder, less known tributary. Together they form a route that, kilometre by kilometre, turns up the pace and the level of difficulty.

True „log-jam kayaking”

Numerous obstacles, submerged trees and boulders are the essence of log-jam paddling. We recommend single kayaks – they let you fully savour this style: climbing over trees and techniques such as the „turtle”. The trip demands concentration and fitness.
