The three faces of the Radunia
1. The Radunia Circle – a necklace of lakes
The first part is a complex of over 20 lakes connected by short channels, forming the famous Radunia Circle. Calm, beautiful and ideal for families – you can paddle around it almost without getting out of the kayak.
2. The Radunia Gorge – a wild ravine
The middle section is the picturesque, deeply cut Radunia Gorge, under nature-reserve protection. This stretch is inaccessible to kayaks – the kayaks are transported to the other side of the gorge.
3. The lower course – towards Gdańsk
The third part is a regulated river flowing through dam reservoirs and historic hydroelectric power plants all the way towards Gdańsk. A section for the persistent, with longer portages.
