Wierzyca: currents of nature, currents of culture (multi-day trip)
The Wierzyca trail is only just beginning to be rediscovered after years of oblivion. The river starts in the heart of Kashubia, and as a paddling route it's recommended from the Kościerzyna area. There it leaves Kashubia and meanders calmly among the fields and meadows of Kociewie.
Seemingly gentle, the Wierzyca is not easy at all: it carries a lot of water and in places flows really fast, especially on difficult bends and by fallen trees. The trip requires vigilance and carries a fair dose of adrenaline – even experienced kayakers will meet more than one challenge here.

Nature – capricious, though seemingly gentle
The Wierzyca meanders among fields and meadows, but it can surprise you with a fast current and obstacles on the bends. It's a river that rewards the attentive and gives the joy of active, varied paddling.
Culture – the monuments of Kociewie
A great asset of the Wierzyca is the multitude of monuments and interesting towns on the trail: the ruins of Kiszewa castle, the cathedral in Pelplin with a copy of the Gutenberg Bible, and at the finish the Gothic Teutonic castle in Gniew. Nature and culture in one trip.
