There are routes you paddle — and ones you experience. The section connecting the Słupia with the Łupawa belongs to the latter category: an unexpected adventure full of charming places, small challenges and… a tractor ride through the forest with kayaks on a trailer, alongside the guide Kazik, a native Kashubian.
Two rivers, three lakes, happy kids and adults in love with nature. We start near Parchowo, on a gentle, idyllic stretch of the Słupia.

Kazik is waiting for you – a local guide, a Kashubian through and through. He hitches the trailer to the tractor, loads the kayaks and off we go along forest tracks. For children – the adventure of a lifetime, for adults – a memory of childhood holidays.
After a dozen or so minutes we reach the shore of the wild, calm Lake Obrowo Duże – this is where the Łupawa begins, a river known only to those who look for something more than the popular trips.
On the northern shore a tunnel under the road awaits, which you paddle through, and further on a beaver obstacle course – fallen trees and signs of feeding. On a short (about 200 m) stretch you have to get into the water and drag the kayak – but that's exactly what stays in your memory. Then shallow backwaters and reed beds lead on, towards Lake Jasień.
