Down the Słupia to the sea in 4 days (multi-day trip)

A four-day proposal for a trip on the lower section of the Słupia. A calm but varied route, free of troublesome kayak portages – ideal when you want to reach the Baltic without excessive difficulty.

The route starts at the largest hydroelectric power plant on the river, in Gałąźnia Mała (worth visiting), leads through dam reservoirs and picturesque power plants, and ends on the beach in Ustka.

4 days difficulty: medium single kayaks, tandems, canoes without troublesome portages a finish in the Baltic

What awaits you on the water

Power plants and dam reservoirs

A start at the power plant in Gałąźnia Mała, then lakes damming the water by the picturesque Konradowo and Krzynia power plants. Then the river meanders through the dense forests of the Słupia Valley, protected as a landscape park.

Through Słupsk – towards the sea

The trail leads through the centre of Słupsk, abounding in monuments – it's worth seeing the Renaissance Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes with the largest collection of Witkacy's works in Poland. From here it's just a step to the finish on the Baltic beach in Ustka.
